Frequently asked questions regarding eray services and products.

How long will xxx implementation take?
How long is a piece of string? All our services time spans vary from a few hours, to several months, depending on the complexity of the agreed requirements. Any changes to requirements during implementation also causes delays. However all deliverable dates will be detailed in the contract.

How much will xxx implementation cost?
Again this depends on the requirements. Visit the prices page for some rough ideas.

Can you work on site?
No. Unless the project is large enough, all the work is remote. Consultants tend to be split across several projects at the same time, as well as perhaps having full time work as well.

What about meetings?
Face to face meetings are often a neccessity. In this age of email, IM, video conferences, etc. many people still prefer personal contact. electric ray have no problem with this. It is up to you what you require.

Where will the meetings be?
eray can come to you, or arrange 3rd party rooms via firefix.org or Regus, etc.

How do we best contact you?
Which ever way you prefer. We prefer email as it allows us to manage our time, and provides us with more information to reply to. If you can encrypt and/or sign the email then that is more secure.

We need to update/modify a product supplied by eray.
Contact us, and we can discuss if there is something we can do, whether it is part of an agreed SLA, if we can do it for free, and if not how much it will be. If we can't do assist we aim recommend people that can.

We require support, but the product was not supplied by eray.
No problem. Talk to us, and if we have the required skills and resources, then we can offer our services.

We would like to become a partner to eray.
If you think yours and our services complement each other, then we will gladly accept you as a partner, whether as a business, supplier, technology or other type of partner.

We would like you to work solely on our project.
We tend to work on one project at the time, however this can not be guaranteed. Other or internal projects may share the resources for short amounts of time. We deliverer the projects as agreed in the contracts, so whether we work solely or not will not affect you. As with on-site requirements, if the project is large enough, and we are compensated enough, we can make guarantees.

We have requirements not mentioned in eray's services page.
Talk to us about it. eray's personell have extensive skills and experiences, and some of them may for some reason or another not be listed. For services we just can't offer we would still assist in recommending ways to find people that can offer it.
